ATPI Submission

This is a picture of two horses. This falls under the category of animals. I am in the beginning, and my name is Karthik Palakkattil. I go to Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California. 

Second Portrait

    This is my second portrait, and it is of a sophomore girl who also took a second portrait of me. This was taken on Friday, October 24, 2014, and she wore yellow, because during Homecoming, yellow is the color that sophomores wear. She was standing on the first step of the bell tower with her arms crossed.

Three Rules of Composition

    I am using the Rule of Background, Rule of Depths, and Rule of Thirds. In the background, there is a kite and a tree behind the gecko. The rule of depth also ties in with this, since it shows a huge depth perception between the gecko, kite, and tree. The rule of thirds ties in with this, since the kite area in the right side takes up one third, the gecko's left eye in the center takes up another third, and the gecko's center of the face on the left side takes up the final third.

Portrait of Somebody Else

    This is a portrait of James Qiao standing by some lockers in the E-Wing of Mission San Jose High School. I had edited this picture by cropping out a part of the picture the way it originally was when there was bright white light shining on the lockers that took the background from that area, which would have made the right side of this photograph bad if I did not crop that part out.
